RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Comedian Kevin Hart will perform at Richmond’s Altria Theater not once but twice this fall due to “incredible fan demand.”
Hart, an Emmy and Grammy-nominated comedian, was previously scheduled to make one appearance on Sept. 27 during his ‘Acting My Age’ tour.
According to a May 14 press release from Live Nation, “incredible fan demand” prompted Hart to add a total of nine additional appearances to his tour — including one more in Richmond.
This second performance is scheduled for Sept. 28, the day after the first.
“‘Acting my Age’ is my ninth tour and I wanted to change things up by creating a more intimate environment,” Hart said in the release. “This hour is about connecting with the audience and feeding off the crowd’s energy and laughter.”
Tickets for the Sept. 28 show will be available for presale beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15. The general sale will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 17.
All tickets can be purchased online, with limited VIP seats available for select dates.
Attendees will have to secure their phones in Yondr pouches during the show. These locked pouches will allow phones to remain in the possession of their owners while still ensuring a phone-free experience, according to the release.
