Reflecting on the emotional toll of potentially facing another prolonged absence from the season, Davis revealed a poignant moment at home. He confessed to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin that he found himself in tears in a closet, prompting concern from his 6-year-old daughter, Nala. Despite his reluctance to be approached, Nala eventually comforted him with a hug before darting off with an idea, leaving Davis to ponder the situation.
